Description
This banana shaped plate was specially designed and handmade by skillful artisan. According to some cultures, banana symbolizes happiness, contentment, enjoyment, and humanity.
The ornamental piece is beautified with batik design on it. The design is done by using the "canting" method in which the artisan uses a wax-resist technique to apply the colors directly on to the wood creating a mesmerizing design.
